The Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) is Singapore's premier higher education institution focused on higher education and lifelong career development, as it focuses on empowering individuals and businesses through learning. Recognized for helping to achieve milestones at different stages. Founded in 1964 by the Singapore Economic Development Board, SMI has been leading the way in the development of vocational and industry skills in Singapore for nearly 60 years.

The Singapore Institute of Management offers a full range of majors, including humanities and social sciences, science, engineering, business, law, architecture, computer science, Yeung Luoling School of Medicine and Yeung Siew Toh School of Music. There are research institutes such as the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and the East Asian Institute. Application conditions

Economics major:

High school graduation, average score including mathematics at least 70% or high school graduation + college entrance examination score at least 60%, mathematics at least 70%; 550 in TOEFL written test (4.0 in writing section) or 92 in IBT or 213 in computer test / 5.5 in IELTS /SIM English test pass; Applicants who must be at least 18 years of age (on or before 31 December of the year of enrolment at the University of London) and cannot meet the English language requirements will be recommended for the English Certificate Programme.

High school graduates, high school average score of 80 points. The college entrance examination score is above 480 points.


Scholarship

To encourage lifelong learning, the Singapore Institute of Management offers scholarships to outstanding students enrolled in certificate, diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. The College Scholarship Programme aims to provide suitable scholarship recipients with educational opportunities to develop their personal potential and acquire the skills needed for the future. The scholarship covers tuition fees, examination fees and other mandatory fees, as well as a book allowance for the purchase of necessary teaching materials. The scholarship does not come with any restrictions and is open to individual members of SMI or employees of member institutions.

The Singapore Institute of Management is committed to enhancing the relevant vocational skills of its students. The College offers 60 training places a year to various community and self-help groups, and its diploma programmes are extensive. Beneficiaries include the Singapore Muslim Community Development Council Fund (Yayasan MENDAKI), the Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA), the Singapore Eurasian Association (EA), the Southeast Community Development Council, the National Welfare Council (NCSS), the People's Association of Singapore (PA), and the Singapore Combat Readiness Servicemen's Association (SAFRA), Singapore Civil Defence Force National Service Members Association (CDANS), Singapore Police Force National Service Members Association and Islamic Professionals Association (SPANS).
