Institutional advantages

The main part of UCL is in Bloomsbury, central London, and the Gower Street campus includes UCL's Science and main library, the Department of Languages, the Department of History, the Bloomsbury Theatre, the Department of Biology and Physics, and the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology.

Application conditions

Undergraduate entry requirements:

The conditional offer received depends on the subject, and the teacher's estimated grading factors range from A*A*Ae to ABBe

Postgraduate education requirements


Graduated from a domestic university with a bachelor's degree


The weighted average score of the school is 80 points (985 universities in China) or 85 points (211 universities in China), and the double non-university requirements are 90;


English requirements:

Different majors will have corresponding different requirements, and even every year there will be corresponding changes.


It should be noted that the language requirements for undergraduate admission are not lower than those for graduate admission in the same program.


Scholarship

1. Cochlear Graeme Clark Scholarship (Cochlear Graeme Clark Scholarship)


The scholarship awards £6,000 each to five students. The Cochlear Graeme Clark Scholarship is awarded to students worldwide who have received cochlear nerve nucleus transplantation.


2. Frederick Bonnart-Braunthal Scholarships (Frederick Bonnart-Braunthal Scholarships)


This scholarship, awarded to two students of £12,000 each, is designed to reward students who plan to explore religious, racial and cultural discrimination and find ways to combat it.


3. Fulbright-UCL Award (Fulbright-UCL Award)


This award awards £20,000 to one student. Applicants must be US citizens and not currently residing in the UK; Have successfully completed or will soon complete undergraduate studies; Plan to study full-time for a Master's degree in any faculty of University College London; Received admission to the Master's programme at University College London before the scholarship application deadline


(Graduate Research Scholarships for Cross Disciplinary Training (One-Year)) (Graduate Research Scholarships for cross Disciplinary Training (one-year))


The scholarship awards £14,988 each to four students. Students from any country may study full-time for an MPHIL/PhD or PhD in Engineering at UCL and wish to undertake an additional year of MPHIL/PhD or PhD in Engineering studies in other UCL departments to gain the ability and knowledge to apply to their original field of study. The training should be for one year, with continuous exposure to the new subject for one year.


6. Harold & Olga Fox Undergraduate Scholarships in the Department of Biology


This scholarship awards £5,000 to one student. The Harold & Olga Fox Scholarship Fund was established as a result of Professor Harold Fox's bequest to students in the Department of Biological Sciences. One overseas student applying for a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Biology, Genetics, Human Genetics or Zoology will be awarded each year (paying full tuition fees).


7. The UCL Hong Kong Alumni Scholarship


This scholarship awards £10,000 to one student. Applicants must hold a Hong Kong Permanent identity card or be a Chinese citizen and have spent not less than five of the eight years prior to commencing studies at UCL in full-time education in Hong Kong and/or China.


8. UCL Faculty Undergraduate Scholarships for Excellence


The scholarship awards £3,000 each to the 18 most academically outstanding first and second year undergraduate students from each of UCL's eight faculties (including the Institute of Slavic and Eastern European Studies).
