Admission requirements

First-year admission

• MDIS International Foundation Diploma in Engineering, or

• Hold an International Foundation diploma in science, technology, engineering, Mathematics or Arts

At least two Cambridge GCE exams at 'A' level, including a' C 'level in mathematical and analytical sciences (e.g. biology, chemistry, computer science, physics or technology), or

• Complete 12 years of formal education (with a background in mathematics and physics or other relevant science/technology/engineering disciplines), or

• Complete 10 years of formal education and hold a private education Institute certificate in engineering related fields (equivalent to preparatory course)

Second year admission

• Hold a Polytechnic diploma in an engineering related field with satisfactory results (equivalent to a Year 1 course), or

• Complete 10 years of formal education and hold an overseas Polytechnic diploma (equivalent to a Year 1 course) in an engineering related field, or

• Completion of 12 years of formal education with a diploma from a private educational institution (equivalent to a Year 1 course) in an engineering related field, or

• National Higher Certificate (HNC) or International Higher College Diploma (HND) in Science/Technology/Engineering

• International Advanced College diploma in information technology related field, or

• 12 years of formal education and a qualification from a relevant private education institution (equivalent to an external degree course in Year 1 and Year 2)

• Have completed 10 years of formal education and hold a diploma in fashion and/or marketing from an overseas polytechnic (the equivalent level of university courses at Level 4 / Year 1 and Level 5 / Year 2 is recognized by the university), or

• International Higher College Diploma (HND) in fashion and/or marketing related fields, or

• Complete 12 years of formal education and hold a degree in fashion and/or marketing in a relevant private education institution (PEI) (recognised by the university as equivalent to a Level 4 / Year 1 and Level 5 / Year 2 university course).
